Founded in 1933 in Mühlacker by Wilhelm Kicherer for the production of floor cleaning devices, Fakir is now one of the leading international household appliances manufacturers. With the expansion of the product range to include heating and cooling devices, fans, and small appliances, as well as the development of global markets, the flourishing family business quickly reached its spatial limits. The move to the new company headquarters in nearby Vaihingen/Enz in 1978 created new production capacities with the option to further expand them in the future.
